Clarrie Hall Electric Results Feb 28

Posted on Wednesday, March 03 @ 11:20:03 EST by bassadmin

Gold Victory at Clarrie Hall

63 anglers made their way to the beautiful Clarrie Hall Dam for round 6 of the 2010 Motorguide BASS Electric Series.

The rescheduled start time of 6.30am due to the overgrowth only leaving a single boat width access to the ramp was helped with the patience of anglers getting everyone on the water and ready by the start time.

After a lot of rain the day before anglers found themselves starting in fine but foggy conditions. A few brief showers late in the morning did little to dampen the spirits, the aggressive Clarrie Hall bass keen for some surface action in the dull conditions.

In 5th place with 2 fish for 1.65kg was Rick Simmons. A tie for 3rd were both Rod Shorten and Danny Robinson with 2 fish for 1.7kg. In 2nd place was young Casey Bullard, Casey boated 2 fish for a respectable 1.7kg out fishing her dad Dave.

The winner on the day was Jack Gold who took advantage of the surface bite with two nice bass totalling 1.8kg. Jack caught both his fish on Mazzi poppers. Gold also won big bass on a count back from Bullard both landing 1.2kg Clarrie bruisers. Casey getting her big bass on 24crt Gold Daves blades and her other fish on a TN50 Jackall.
