Wivenhoe Electric- 20th June- Postponed

The BASS Electric event scheduled for this weekend at Wivenhoe (20th June) has been postponed due to the onwater fatality during the week and the search for the missing angler's body. The recreation area will be closed by Seqwater over the weekend and while there was the option to run it from Hamon Cove we believe it to be more appropriate to postpone the event as a mark of respect.

The tendative date we have for a reschedule is Sun 25th July.

The ranger and myself will be there on Sunday morning at the gate to intercept anyone that doesn't find out about the postponment before Sunday. Please spread word to anyone that might be heading out. Regards Simon Goldsmith.
